Magnolia Market at the Silos

If you are a fan of the popular HGTV show that has popularized the term fixer-upper, you probably have a dream of coming to Waco, Texas, to visit Magnolia Market at the Silos.

When Magnolia Market at the Silos first opened, I attended the grand opening media event. I’ll never forget the day I got the invitation. I was also able to take a photographer to the event so, of course, I asked Cameron, my youngest daughter, to tag along. She loved fixer-upper and has an awesome camera.

We had so much fun that day. We met Joanna and toured the market and the grounds, led by JoJo. I even asked Joanna a question, got a response and the quiet laughter from the other reporters. Peers? It is a day I will never forget. I am so blessed Cameron and I shared the day.

I love going to the silos. My favorite thing to do there is eat lunch. Waco has amazing food trucks. My husband and two eldest children have an office about two blocks away and we have walked to lunch several times.

My next favorite thing is to shop at the market.
